Cockpit: just keeps gettin' better!!

When using the VNC console only the keyboard works and mouse works, but clicking does not.
Is that normal?
Update: Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer 11 all don't work.

Just use an app?
There's Remote Desktop Viewer on Linux that does VNC well.

Hopefully, they keep expanding the VM Management capabilities in Cockpit. If they get a fully functional WebUI for KVM into Cockpit, that would be awesome.
-
Does Cockpit manage mdraid now?

I has for a while now, but you need to install the full version and the storage add-on. Don't think it was included with the basic install included with a new system.

Seems too.

Nice The Nas thread (https://mangolassi.it/topic/16397/nas-alternative-on-the-cheap) got me thinking about that.

No way to add/remove/change networks on a VM
-
Also, no way to set a VM to Autostart

I just create a VM in Cockpit and it doesn't show up in virt-manager? Hmmmm.....

I believe itβs created under user session or something like that.
-
The ones I create in virt-manager show up in Cockpit, but not the other way around.

Don't blame Cockpit, that's a user error.
Works fine for me. -

Did you log in to cockpit as root or with your account and made sure to enable Reuse my password for privileged tasks at the login screen?
Without it, in Virt Manager, your vm will be located under QEMU/KVM User session. You might have to add a new connection in Virt Manager to see it.
-
@aaronstuder
Creating VM in QEMU/KVM user session (qemu:///session) defaults to
/home/user1/.local/share/libvirt/images/
Creating VM in QEMU/KVM (qemu:///system) defaults to/var/lib/libvirt/images/
In Cockpit, if you forget to login with
Reuse my password for privileged tasks
checked with user1. All created VMs will show up in/home/user1/.local/share/libvirt/images/
and in Virt Manager under QEMU/KVM user session. If you login as root or user1 with
Reuse my password for privileged tasks
checked. All created VMs will show up in/var/lib/libvirt/images/
and in Virt Manager under QEMU/KVM.After you login, you should see padlock unlocked next to your account on the top right page if you enabled Reuse my password for privileged tasks.
