We have seen ... worse proposals from the EU, like the "Commission Regulation (EEC) No 1677/88 of 15 June 1988 laying down quality standards for cucumbers" as a prominent example.
When you take a look back and know where it comes from (WW1, coal saving, longer firefights, yay...), well, bury it. Even from an IT point of view, the world would be a tiny bit better without it.

When Ben Franklin proposed it, it was actually as a joke. https://gizmodo.com/ben-franklins-daylight-saving-time-proposal-was-writte-1456363759
When our country adopted it, it was in 1918 when it was adopted. Which I don't get because electricity was beginning to spread wildly and the need for more daylight wasn't really true. Get rid of it I say.

Yeah, there has never been a legit excuse for it.

"Well, they did it for the farmers." -Farmers work by the sun. The sun comes up, they go out to work. The sun goes down, they go home and go to bed. They don't care about "the official time".

Yeah, no farmer EVER works by a clock. That's insane.

#MeToo tag used by woman with multiple accusations of being the harasser, not the harassed. This will give a very different context to the hashtag.

Real question... only nine years?
That's really bad.
Not only is it bad, its a matter of WTF was this perv thinking. . . And to the next point . . (as has been tested / is being tested in court) can a minor be charged with creating/distributing child pornography. . .

I didn't read the article but not only is that against child pornography laws. It also goes against any number of state and federal privacy laws, as well as digital intrusion and digital espionage (although that may only be for state actors) laws.

And specifically using a position of state mandated authority as a means of exploiting children!
