5Nine Free Version
-
So finally got a clear answer on this with 5Nine. The 5Nine Manager free was removed for a while but it is back now. You have a 14 day trial and then it goes back to the free version. These are some features you can use with the free version:
- 1 node support.
- Up to 6 VMs managmeent
- Console Access
- GUI
- Summary of Host and VMs
- Create, Edit and Remove VMs
If you want to have the paid version you will be paying per 2 CPU on each Hypervisor regardless if you have one or two CPUs.
If you need to purchase the Enterprise edition is based on 16 cores packs regardless of what servers CPU cores you have.
Hope this help anyone there.

True, but a nice fallback when other methods cooperate poorly.

They had a more functional "free version" than what has been released now.

I like 5nine when you are setting up a new environment and you don't have a domain setup yet. You don't have to go through the rigamaroll of setting up the hyper-v server and your machine to talk to each other. You use 5nine and get your Domain setup in a virtual machine and then join the Hyper-v and your machine to it.
