Good! Not that I'll be there this year
-
The local rideshare service they had was really good. Cheaper and better than Uber.

But requires people to get apps, figure it out, get new accounts, deal with their company reimbursements and everything for a single ride. Might have been okay for locals, but was a huge pain for visitors.
-
@scottalanmiller I wouldn't call it a "huge pain". All that stuff you mentioned took me almost 3.5 minutes to complete.

Have you met most other people in the world?

I try to avoid most of them... because I know this would actually be a challenge to many. My fleeting bits of sanity can't handle those people.

/sigh, depending on the savings, I'll gladly spend the 3.5 mins.

I used Uber in Austin almost 2 years ago. It was decent but expensive. Got from the airport to SW-HQ in about 30 minutes.
-
I usually take the local express bus from the airport to my hotel when I come into town. But then I take a taxi on the leaving day because hang over.

Last year at MC I took the stupid 5AM shuttle back to the airport with a hangover. It was awful.
Right @ChrisL ????
