Vendors...Who are you using?

I had been buying all my equipment from the same guy for the last 8 years but last week, he decided to leave the IT sales stuff and now I'm looking for a new vendor. Who are you guys using that you're happy with?

What kind of stuff are you looking to buy? For straight servers, we buy through xByte.

Servers from Xbyte, other equipment usually whomever is offering lowest price at the time; Amazon, Newegg; CDW occasionally.

Desktops, mice, keyboards, toner...pretty much everything. For servers, I will start using xByte but that isn't all too often.

My last two mice were from Amazon, does that count?

xByte for servers and networking gear, Stallard Tech for workstations. For other things, whatever I trust that offers good value (NewEgg, TigerDirect, BHPhotoVideo, Amazon).

I kind of got the impression that Grove will be limited in what they can get. Maybe I misunderstood.

That's my understanding. But limited in vendors, not limited in scope, I think. LIke they can get mice, but maybe not the brand you want specifically.

We do have a full distributor that we buy through (all the things that you need) it's the speciality stuff that we are keeping close and specialized.

Is that for Grove or just a distributor that you guys use?We will be using a distributor (most VAR's do). I have 2 I will purchase through. Major things will be direct through Vendors.
