Rhcsa or Rhce Certification?
-
Now my mind Interested in Redhat Certification to start a Linux career within long-time.After googling I found RHCSA is the basic certificate in Redhat? How is the ML people suggestion on this? What is the syllabus for Redhat Certification. How much will be spent to get the certificate without going to classes?
-
My experience for the US market is that the RHCSA is totally worthless and the RHCE is good, but really only for entry level work and once you get experience in Linux Administration, it's useless after that point. How that is seen outside of the US, I have no idea.
-
Any other suggestions from their own countries than USA where already @scottalanmiller mentioned the proper market details for the certificate

RHCSA is the junior exam that you get before completing the full RHCE.

There are plenty free red hat resources out there, but if you want to focus specifically on the exam I suggest buying a udemy course and getting a book on Amazon.
-
@IRJ what books you prefer for exam point of view from Amazon?
-
If you don't have alot of experience I think the boot camp is important in addition to the book. You should probably start with the entry level cert and build a base from there.
Do you currently have nay certs @Lakshmana ?
Whats your skill level with Linux? -
@IRJ I Know basic commands, configured nis and nfs in servers.( Ubuntu)

I don't have any experience with this particular cert. I'd just search Amazon for related books and read the reviews to see how helpful the material is.
For me, a book is not enough I prefer boot camps and audio files to listen to while driving and at work. I've put over 150 hours on CISSP training so far.

I'd highly recommend a boot camp for basic understanding. I've been very happy with udemy and gave used udemy courses for many certs
