Well, I think I counted 3 of the major story arcs in that trailer, one from the original series, one from Born Again Complex, and one from the movie.
Edit: So who knows what they're going to do.
Good or bad, I'll be happy to sit through 2 hours of Scarlett Johansen in that bodysuit.

@travisdh1 Scarlett Johansson wearing such tight outfits that she is pretty much naked. Do you need any other reason to see this movie? I find her very attractive.

EXACTLY!!! I never read or watched Ghost In the Shell, but I'm excited about this movie. Maybe I'll binge watch it this weekend.

The first one was so generic. I knew exactly what would happen in every scene before it happened. Never even read a single issue of the comic. Generic human good guy recruits generic aliens including big strong alien, sarcastic cute phsyco alien, hot chick alien. Now the big strong alien is a child. Cant get any worse than that. I suppose ill probably redbox or netflix it when it is available in those venues.

Should have left it at one movie. Although we did get one of my favourite movie quotes (from Revolutions) to quote at people when they come back from somewhere, like holidays, sick leave, the toilet etc:

I loved the cartoon and toys of the Transformers. They are nothing like the movies.

What movies do you like?
Movies made to tell a story and are made by people who care who want an audience to like them. Not movies that take mediocre IPs and phone in a nonsensical story and made as quickly as possible with zero care because everyone involved knows that the audience isn't discriminating and outright mocks their customers for continuing to return no matter how little effort they put into making the film.
Transformers is, of course, dramatically better than Marvel, but that doesn't make it worth sitting through. The very first one was mediocre and it went seriously down hill from there.
