It is worth noting that any Ethernet cable should be max length 100 metres. If a cable run is longer than this, then you will start to lose quality of service on the network.

It depends on lots of things - is it an open-plan office? Are there any walls that might affect the signal strength? You could even do a mix, have one on WiFi that's furthest away, and the other two on ethernet into the router - ethernet is generally faster and stronger, and more reliable, than WiFi in my opinion...so I'd always do Ethernet where possible.

        Hola.

@NattNatt I do not exactly about that information... but, let's make a guess about it, If the third host is on the same space and there are not any walls that might affect the signal strength, Is it good idea to put the ethernet cable and connect this into the router, as well as the other two hosts?.

There is a weighing machine next to a desktop and another host 100 meters away from the others two.

If a put a switch instead of a router could this work like in the same way?. It is just for local access in order to get into an application that is gonna be in a virtual machine.

Yes, and if you could put the switch in the midpoint so each cable run is ~ 50 metres, that would be the ideal solution imo.
