UAP-AC-Lite and Unifi/EdgeSwitch possible problems

Ubiquiti is warning people of a possible known problem to UAP-AC-LITE and other models that might have a problem with PoE protection. They are offering injectors for free to resolve the issue.

PoE protection mechanism comes into place when you have UniFi Switch and it boots up and damages your UAP AC Lite, also if your devices are UAP-AC-LITE and UAP-AC-LR with date codes older than the following, with UniFi switches
UAP-AC-LITE: D/C:1625(G),1624(K) and lower.
UAP-AC-LR: D/C:1625(G),1623(K) and lower. -
Two of my three boxes of 5 definitely have this problem. Luckily they aren't installed yet.
The third box is installed and I can't find a remote way to pull the date codes.

Suddenly glad I'm only using the power injector for 2 of those UAP-AC-LITE.

I heard back from them. They aren't sending anything unless I actually experience a problem.
