What Are You Doing Right Now

Just got an email from a recruiter who said they had a job they thought I was a good fit for. These were the requirements:
IBM ILE RPG, Cobol 400, Synon Z/E, CL 400 Utility, Query 400
No idea how they came to that conclusion.

Huh... I guess I didn't even notice it. Well that's mildly annoying.
If only it had sound.
In my head, it totally has a sound... which makes it even more annoying. Damn imagination.

Yo mean it doesn't actually make a swooshing sound?

I watched someone use Cobol on an AS/400. Most confusing thing I've ever watched.

You'd think it wouldn't work like that, but it do.

I had a '97 Camaro with t-tops and I left them off one night (by mistake) during a huge storm. It was SOAKED the next day.

I did that with the sunroof on an 87 Jetta. I don't think it ever got completely dry after that. I even considered drilling a small hole or two in the floor to drain it, but it was super easy to remove the seats and carpet in that car.

Cobol isn't that bad at all.

Hell no, nothing that shows up on his blog! Not that you can actually tell with many of the new skimmers.

That's a pretty obviously insecured device. And would you really trust security decisions from people who think that Cisco devices for end points are good business decisions?

This thread got pretty quiet today!

I drove the three hours out to my dad's place. Kids are "in bed" but far from sleeping. I'm trying to prep a laptop for conversion to Windows 10.
