Second question: Why is CDW so expensive??http://irowiki.org/cl/images/8/82/Que.gif http://irowiki.org/cl/images/8/82/Que.gif http://irowiki.org/cl/images/8/82/Que.gif

So expensive? They might be a little more than the competition, but generally not more than 10% and even so - why does it matter? are you forced to buy from them for some reason?

Beside CDW, PCMall, SHI, Dell, HP, etc... where do you buy your soft wares for business?
I am looking into MalwareBytes for business right now and CDW quoted me a price which somewhere inside me telling me there is a cheaper pricing available somewhere else.

We at @ntg use Softmart. They've been great for us.

They seem to be more expensive than provantge for hardware, list price anyway. About the same as SHI.

They are not similar things. Softmart is a VAR, like CDW. They get from distributors like Provantage, IM, Tech Data. Distributors are always the lowest cost because they are the wholesalers.

Prices on their website aren't what we get at all.

Don't you typically have to be a reseller to get access to the distributors?

You buy in volume and you can buy from distribution in most cases.

"Typically" yes, but definitely not exclusively.
