Anybody Else having Pertino Problems?
-
I am connected remotely to my Ubuntu box ATM and no issues

Hey guys,
I was on a demo but here's the scoop. It looks like any connected devices should be fine, but we're experiencing latency for devices that were previously disconnected and coming online. We've got it up on the http://status.pertino.com/ page.

hey @Josh i'm not sure if your 100% correct about devices that were connected. on one of my networks i've got 14 of 47 devices connected, 15 or so of my offline devices are devices that were connected earlier in the day and haven't been rebooted. i've noticed pertino has been acting a little funky since this weekend. Can we get a little more info as to what's happening?

My online devices were online until I started troubleshooting network issues (not related to Pertino it has been discovered). Now my primary DC is offline in Pertino.

yeah. same situation. as devices booted etc they gone. i'm told by @josh they are working on it.
-
I'd expect all devices to auto-reconnect upon resolution, but I'll post here as soon as we're in the clear.

That's what I've got from engineering and seems consistent from other customers, but more details will follow and I'd expect a post-mortem.

Just a quick update. I'm sure anyone impacted has been following the status page, but we've been all clear for a few hours now and are closely monitoring all services.
-
Thanks for keeping us up to date.
-
Funny how this service got better at the same time that AT&T's peering problem in Chicago cleared up. Looking forward to the port-mortem.
Thanks for the update late @Josh
-
Yeah I was wondering if they were related... lol

Fanstastic!!! something could never really get C@C to provide.
-
Ha ha. That's because a post mortem is a misnomer. It's actually a post disaster. CloudatCost was actually a post mortem, after the company was dead and the staff had abandoned ship. There was no one left to do the port mortem

n00bs@cost still have an email system going as I get "ZOMG SPECIALZ!" emails.
So, they aren't completely dead, yet. -
That reminds me. I need to start up my VPS, reboot it a few times and then turn it off again. It's been a while.

Anytime you see people on Twitter using it, point them to the threads here. Great way to gain new people.

So, they aren't completely dead, yet.For what it's worth, I haven't had too many problems out of my machine hosted with them now. It blips out every now and again, but it isn't quite as painfully slow as it has been in the psat... My ownCloud install works great with it.

Had another outage last night. Same problem according to their text notification. Atleast this time it wasn't in business hours for us.
