everyone hates RAID 5, especially in large drives. having 2 in RAID 1 and another 2 in RAID 0 seems to be the preference here

It seems that it was a lack of written English skills that lead to the incorrectly written statement.

Once I corrected the record on RAID 10, the poster indicated that English wasn't their native language and that my explanation was 'better.'

The thread was about someone trying to find a storage solution to give them 4 TB of "data" space, plus additional space for the OS's of the VMs.
