@oksana We have used Starwind products for several years and have had really good results with Starwind vSAN on Hyper-V for general purpose shared storage (Hyper-V VM's, SQL clusters etc.). The vSAN product is solid, can be spun up rapidly with only a two or three nodes and unlike Storage Spaces Direct, it can leverage both RAID and non-RAID/JBOD disk subsystems. Starwind is also easier to work with than Microsoft SSD. Definitely worth a look.

@jaredbusch one important migration is all it takes. The only way to have done it without downtime would have been to go from Akamai to another CDN then back to Akamai. We opted not to do the back to Akamai part.
