It was going to be a one time thing, but I will be looking into those suggestions tomorrow morning once I get in, right now I'm running around like a chicken with it's head cut off with Office 365 needing reactivation everywhere. I was able to narrow down for this issue to a couple of culprits for my problems. Thank you SΓ©nior πŸ™‚

I liked Office 2010 a lot. Office 2013, not so much. It's fine, but not great. But I know that it is just a first step on their road to pure JavaScript in a browser, so I appreciate the technology that it is enabling.

Yeah, we're trying to take a more holistic approach to security. Whether virus, malware or phishing, we're trying to be the one-stop place for security reputation for processes, IP address and URLs.

I was thinking more about controlling rules in Exchange. If HR need to be involved to get something enforced then I may as well forget it.

Then why the concern? If management and HR think it doesn't matter then it should definitely not concern you. Not IT's place to make those kinds if calls.

@Carnival-Boy in that particular case, I would guess that that was an accident. Service providers and vendors do have to be careful as their accident "blast radius" is often larger than in house IT is. But to be fair, we see internal IT people accidentally post rather a bit of stuff when looking for help online or using KB systems that are hosted publicly or whatever.

Publishing tickets without an air gap process, though, that is pretty idiotic I must admit.

I've been using Clonezilla for 4+ years.. it's easy and fast. it has some caveats, but you can read about the requirements if you're doing anything more than restoring to the same (or same size) disk as you started with.
